“Rockstar Games: Skipping GTA 6 PC Launch? Here’s the Inside Scoop!”

Rockstar Games

While Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced if GTA 6 will be coming to PC, it seems to be part of a pattern for Take-Two to deliberately delay the PC launch of its games, with some notable games like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 arriving on PC with more than a year’s delay. However, the good news for PC gamers is that there is still plenty of time for GTA 6 to be released in 2025 and hopefully Rockstar Games decide to make a change of course during that time.

Rockstar Games’ recent release of the GTA 6 trailer has confirmed several speculations and leaks concerning the game. These include the addition of a new female protagonist named Lucia, which marks a first for the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Additionally, the trailer showcases the well-known Vice City setting and reveals a targeted release date of 2025.

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, highlighted in a press release following the trailer’s launch that the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series will be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S consoles in 2025. However, no information was provided regarding a potential release on PC, eliciting disappointment from numerous PC gaming enthusiasts.

Although an official confirmation from Rockstar Games regarding a PC version of GTA 6 is still forthcoming, it appears that Take-Two has developed a tendency to intentionally delay the PC launch of its games. This pattern is exemplified by previous titles such as GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, both of which arrived on PC more than a year after their initial release.

According to Bloomberg, Take-Two Interactive has projected that its game will generate $8 billion in net bookings by 2025. It is worth mentioning that the Grand Theft Auto series, which was initiated back in 1997, has achieved an impressive sales figure of over 400 million units to date, with the latest version released in 2013. The substantial time lapse between the launches of GTA 5 and GTA 6, spanning over a decade, has undoubtedly fueled the anticipation among the devoted fanbase for a glimpse of the forthcoming game.
